Chloe is one super organised woman!! She made contact with me about 16 months from her wedding date. When we had our first meeting not long after and I didn’t expect that she would have a lot of plans at that point. How wrong I was, she had a book ideas, fabric samples, her colour scheme picked out and she had even brought her dress already…..way to go Chloe!!!
These guys met when Chloe replaced Lee in a job in Sydney looking after a property and some kids. Both of them were also involved in the polocrosse scene there. Chloe later expressed a desire to leave that job and the big smoke and move back to the Hunter Valley. Lee said he would follow. The bosses didn’t want them to be together but fate had other plans, nothing was going to stop these two …so sweet. The polocrosse team members had a bit of a joke going saying the polocrosse grooms ran off together!! what a great story.
We organised the engagement shoot for March as we would get a good indication of the way the light behaves for the big day the following year…..hopefully we don’t get a gloomy day.
The engagement shoot worked out wonderfully. It was a gorgeous golden afternoon in Scone, we had many locations to shoot and Chloe had managed to have her make-up trial done the same day as the shoot. We decided to start in town and had a few toots from the cars passing by! then we went out to their horse paddock to get some shots with their horses and use the landscape there for a more rural look.
These guys were great fun, we had many laughs throughout the shoot and they put complete trust in my visions. I have no doubt that shooting their wedding next year will be a blast!
Congratulations Chloe and Lee.
